Iram Hussain
Iram is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA). She holds her Masters in Business Administration as well as a Bachelor’s in Commerce. Iram articled in Fernie, BC gaining audit experience and she has more than 10-years of experience in public accounting.
She brings a wealth of expertise in Financial Reporting, Audit, and Review Engagement to Magma. As an accountant, she helps many clients in the tax and accounting side of the business with many of her clients coming from every sector such as non-profit organizations, construction, retail, real estate industries, and property management companies. Iram is currently enrolled in and expanding her knowledge through an in-depth tax program which is considered the highest level of taxation training available in Canada
As part of her giving back, Iram is an active volunteer at JA Southern Alberta and volunteers for CPA, Alberta.
When she is not busy, she enjoys spending time with her family and her three children doing outdoor activities and loves traveling. Iram likes to be called a soccer mom. 🙂
Musawar Hussain
Musawar holds a BA and BBA degree and brings more than two decades of experience and entrepreneurial wisdom to Magma.
At a very young age, Musawar understood return on investment and is a true entrepreneur starting his first business at the age of 20. In his portfolio, he manages several businesses including a very successful call center, construction company, and he is proud to be Multi Sites Operator for Husky Energy where he brings his knowledge and wisdom about the retail business. Musawar believes that “retail is detail”. Musawar is also a Master Franchisee Smittys Canada. He has a strong knowledge of the restaurant industry.
Musawar helps his wife Iram to understand the business operations of her professional practice business which brings an even stronger focus to her clients and helps their small business owner clients to be successful. “We don’t just crunch the numbers we know your business.”
He likes to empower his people and when he has free time he likes to travel and is an avid skier in the winter.
We consider ourselves to be client-centered and client-focussed. Our clients are small and medium-sized companies and their owners. Additionally, we serve individuals not associated with a particular business.

We believe protecting your privacy is important and have developed a privacy policy designed to meet the needs of its clients and employees and conform to the Personal Information Protection Act (“PIPA”). This policy covers the collection, use and disclosure of personal information by Magma.

This includes information in any form, such as: age, name, ID numbers, income, or ethnic origin; opinions, evaluations, comments, social status, or disciplinary actions; and employee files, credit records, loan records, medical records, existence of a dispute with a client, intentions (for example, to acquire goods or services, or change jobs).
